Independent Living Services
Personalized, goal-focused skills training that empowers individuals to live independently — in their own environment, on their own terms.
Introduction to ILS
Independent Living Services (ILS) helps people live independently by pairing each client with a dedicated training specialist for weekly, goal-focused sessions. Training is tailored and repeated to suit individual needs — because gaining independence is a gradual, personal process.
All services are delivered in the client's natural environment — whether in their home or out in the community. Training occurs wherever it is needed, including on public transportation, at doctor appointments, and within community programs.
Restoration Hope ILS provides consistent and repetitive skills training so clients can confidently apply these skills in everyday situations.
Service Delivery
Services are delivered wherever the individual needs them most — at home, on public transit, at medical appointments, or within community programs.
This real-world approach ensures skills learned are immediately applicable to the client's actual daily life.
Advocacy & Decision-Making
Restoration Hope ILS advocates for each person's right to make their own choices, offering facilitation to ensure decisions are safe and well-considered.
Facilitators guide clients through planning and problem-solving, helping them weigh the pros and cons of informed choices. Ongoing maintenance and support are offered to help clients retain and build upon their skills.
